Tennessee is reportedly leading the way and will open for business on April 27. Ohio will follow on May 1. I'm sure we'll see other states announce a May 1 or earlier date within the coming hours/days. New York will likely remain closed a little while longer. But it seems the vast majority of governors are waking up to common sense and will be allowing people to exit this pretend world we have been living in for the better part of four weeks now.

The OT can go back to worthless threads about nothing instead of worthless threads bitching about nothing.

And this place can continue to be the hell hole it's always been.

That would be a welcome change, just two days ago we were extended to April 30th.

Knox county could start to open back up tomorrow.

'open for business' doesnt mean what you think it does but definitely a positive step

Calm down, chicken little. POTUS has even alluded to the fact that multiple states will be re-opening before May 1.

It means exactly what I think it means. I have no illusions about the sky screaming doctors who have been whispering in Trump's ear for the past month. This will be a phased return to normal that could take months or even a year to fully implement.

I have no doubt we could return to 100% normal life tomorrow if we wanted to. But unfortunately I don't make those decisions.

"Pretend world"? A family member works in an ER in NYC & saw the body bags being stored in freezer trucks. All the deaths in N.O. are not pretend. A La. State Legislator, in his early 50's, did last week of the virus. A group of h.school kids from Texas went to Spring Break in Fla. as a group & 40 have since tested positive.etc etc etc

POTUS says a lot of shite that doesn't come true. Remember when he said there would be testing facilities all over the country at CVS, Walgreen's, and Walmarts?
