The birth of a travel ball mom

We are playing 6U all stars, tomorrow starts the state tournament. All stars these days is the gateway drug to travel ball.
Wife is next to me on the couch looking up hairstyles, and planning on dying my daughter's hair for the tournament. We've been invited to 3 travel teams, it's begun.
What is the travel ball girls name so I can get it changed?
What's the best technique for making sure I keep the beer flowing while coaching?
At least her walk up song is Shinedown - diamond eyes. I haven't completely failed.
Honestly it has been fun besides the parents and coaches, people ruin everything.

Oh look. Another travel ball thread where posters with no kids can tell us all how parents should spend all their money on Jaxtin and Braxtynn.
This is how this thread is going to go…
Jaxton Braxtynn, Brayden, Aiden something something MLB hopes at 8 years old something something vicariously through kids acting up at a Pizza Hut because they can’t control the cost of the entry fee at the gates of the park while whining about parents bringing wagons to carry their rings after playing all weekend while dad comes to the OT whining that he hates it.
This has been going on for a decade now on this board. Shouldn’t there be new material?

I have 3 playing. Boys but same concept. 13 and two playing 10.
It's a money racket. Coach is former pro but never sustained it. They make money of teaching kids baseball. They'll also usually hit you up for one on one lessons.
Your kid will get better just get ready to pay way to much for kids to play baseball.
Oh and all day Saturday. Stay away from fall travel.

I used to be the one giving lessons and making bank of travel kids. It's nice to step back, coach a little bit, focus on my kid and have fun.
Did the lessons thing for over 10 years.
There's nothing better than seeing your child excel at anything they do.
