Actually surprised Subaru wasn't the most popular in Pennsylvania. Everyone in Western PA seems to have one, including my cousin, she swears by them.
They stick to the road, have great control and traverse the rolling hills and gulleys of Western PA very well.

And I'm saying what I see every day on the road here. Again, if we're including fleet vehicles, then those numbers are probably correct. Minus fleet sales? Not even close.
Ford sold 654,000 trucks in 2022 and 173,000 were fleet sales for a total of 481,000 non fleet sales. Ram sold 486,000 trucks in 2022 I could not find the Ram fleet sales numbers but even if they didn't make a single P/U fleet sale they would have only sold 5,000 more to retail customers. If you consider that difference "not even close" I won't argue with you.

They nailed Hawaii, we just got back from there, and the numbers of Toyota trucks on the road were unreal. I'm thinking you could combine all of the big 3 together, and they wouldn't equal Toyota sales. They like to put 4 to 6 inch lifts on them but have skinny highway tires on them. It's quite a sight.

I'd say conservatively that seven out of the ten trucks I see around here are Rams. Ford is even more rare
Try looking in the repair shops.

I've told this story before. My wife always commented on the number of Tacos we saw in Hawaii. On the 3rd or 4th trip she ask one of the natives why that was. He said it is because they have that FE engine which means they run Fo Eva.

First time I went to HI was to Maui in 01. I had just traded my Taco TRD for an SUV and loved the thing. I was shocked how many Prerunners and TRD there were on the road. Everywhere. Back when they were all 2 door w fold down ext cab seats. 3 or 4 years later, went to Oahu and it had twice as many. I was like WTF

Shocked the Subaru isn’t #1 in Montana

You definitely have bad eyes to not notice the Rav4s. They don’t show it, but the Honda CRVs are pretty popular too.
