Where at? My back hurts all the time. I'd gladly pay for biweekly treatment if somebody could stop it.
I wasted 2 weeks and a couple hundred bucks seeing a chiropractor recently for some severe back pain I had.
Finally went to an orthopedic and had x-rays and discovered I had a degenerative disc in my lower back. Went to physical therapy and was better after 1 week with a combination of anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers and therapy.

I see it both ways. Chiros are not doctors, and there is little scientific evidence that their "adjustments" do anything - which is why you'll rarely see anything similar in a medical doctor exam room.
On the other hand, millions of people suffer from back pain that is largely recurrent and sometimes incurable.
So, if it makes you feel better, go. Just know that it's not proven and is mostly a massage. See a real doctor first to make sure it's nothing serious. If it's not, and expensive massages make you feel better, go get your back popped for $200.

They are referred to as doctor of chiropractic
Looking at the etymology of the word doctor, both stole their title from university professors.
That being said, one is licensed to practice medicine and the other is highly controversial.

What in the heck do those chiropractic ray guns do? They look pretty useless.

I feel like this is the hooker his wife caught him texting; he said she was one of his patients; wife knew he was full of shite; he paid the hooker an extra $200 to let him film an alignment video; then he said to the wife "look honey, it's all about my job."
Also, he introduced himself as "doctor."

Neither does the bum who lives in a box behind Burger King. Because neither are qualified.

True, they also aren't to blame for the rise in antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

I have a cousin out in California that is a chiropractor. He has a bunch of videos where he's basically perving out on models in the name of fake medicine. We always give him shite when he claims to be a doctor.

I've also heard horror stories of these quacks manipulating folks with nerve/disk damage. It's fricking stupid and reckless to allow them anywhere near your back.
