The Alternative to the Norm Thanksgiving Plans Thread

I won't see any family or watch any football but I will climb in Indian Creek tomorrow and Friday, mountain bike Dead Horse Point State Park Saturday, then head to summit county Saturday night to stay there and wake up Sunday to ride Copper Mountain

i am doing friendsgiving. should be fun.
i am bummed about missing family as it sounds like there will be half of my cousins and their families there, but tickets were too steep.

I feel your pain there. When you live far from family you have to pick and choose your trips wisely. $500 to get home for Thanksgiving is not worth it

I'm doing friendsgiving. After all the threads I've been seeing on here, I'm learning that what I should be thankful for is not living near my family this time of year.

I will have a lot more fun at my friendsgiving. But I do think that it would be cool to see my cousins. But with friends, better food, better booze, better company, better conversation.
