why is this board so opposed to transparency of government employees?
Except this demand, as worded, isn't about transparency as much as vigilantism. Dishonest and ignorant to imagine otherwise.

Police Trial Board? We have the criminal justice system already.
Releasing all camera footage is no different than any other evidence gathered. We don't do that for obvious reasons and we shouldn't do that now.
Release name of officers? BS, why? So you can convict in the court of public opinion? What sane person would want to be an officer if they do their job and are subject to this. Foolishness.
Standard Operating Procedures are already in place. It does not matter what SOP's are in place, some people will not follow them. I can see it now, hey you skipped step #3 and went straight to #5 so I am going to sue you. Come the f on.
Minority shooting requires elevated investigation? I thought you wanted equality????! Now you want special treatment?
Implicit bias training? No such thing. How about just do the right thing. If you don't, you are held accountable.
Enhance the data of fatalities involving officers. Hey, we agree on something. We should be releasing the data of all fatalities involving officers and that includes officers shot and killed by civilians. What does that data show?
Citizen's arrest? Get rid of that. Citizens should call cops whenever possible, which should be almost everytime. No more waiting in the streets trying to be some super cop.
Interact and team up with organization and the NAACP- I can see interacting with organizations that do not promote one race over another but not an organization that has an agenda to benefit one race.

Logical to the poorly educated. You have no idea the cost and management difficulties behind such demands.
Nor do I care. Tough shite, figure it out. A lot of things in life that are necessary aren't easy nor convenient.
