Someone needs to educate ol' Gary on exactly what a "good ole boys" network really is. The Baton Rouge Police Department has a civil service protected seniority based promotional system. You pass the promotional exam with a 75 and have the most seniority, you get the rank regardless if you are black, white, asian, young, old, the chief's best friend or not. Doesnt matter. That promotional system was put in place to protect minorities from the "good ole boys network" and this dude is railing against it
