Agreed. Look at his behavior after the shooting. He wandered around Dallas aimlessly. He had no plan for escape and was readily apprehended.
Why would a group supporting him allow him to be captured and questioned? They would have gotten him out of there or killed him before his arrest.

Firstly that picture showing Oswald and Ferrie together was taken in Clinton, LA and while it clearly is Oswald its never been proven to be Ferrie. The conspiracy crowd loves to claim that it is but its purely speculation. Same as the photo showing Oswald on the steps of the book depository as the shots were being fired and later it was leaned that it was Billy Lovelady and not Oswald.
Secondly, and most importantly, read the book "Case Closed" by Gerald Posner. Posner started out as a conspiracy theorist and did his research for the book and changed his conclusion to the fact that Oswald acted alone. If you understand who Oswald was, a known idiot, you would understand that there is no chance that the mob or the CIA or anyone else would ever trust him with the task of shooting the president. They don't involve themselves with nuts like him who had a long history of dust ups with anti-castro cubans the FBI etc.

They didn't.
They used professionals.
Oswald was the fall guy. He wasnt read into the operational details. That's why he was left twisting in the wind with no exit strategy. They didn't care if he got caught and Ruby was the failsafe in case he did.

I chuckle at all of the conspiracy talk about JFK. It's not like JFK had been in office for decades with no end in sight. He had only been elected 3 years prior (of which, there are conspiracy theorists that say the election was rigged to allow him to win the Presidency. There was a new election in just 12 months. Why would the CIA, FBI, LBJ, etc. go through getting some loony like Oswald to take out the President, when they could just rig elections to get him out of office?
