You can, but are strongly encouraged not to. If you end up having to shoot, such as in this case, and a BAC is run, even if you have a completely justifiable shoot, you can bet that the family of the TPOS you killed will sue you civilly. And any registering on the BAC will be argued as a factor in inhibiting the judgment of the shooter.

I personally never drink while carrying. Anything. Just because of the above.

Wonder why the criminal shot the other guy? Either way, not sympathy and good work to the concealed carrying citizen!

You can carry your weapon in a restaurant but not a bar in Louisiana. The slippery slope is for example, Applebees bar and grill. Is it a bar or a grill?

I haven't taken the CCW class, so I may be wrong on this...but I believe that it has to do with the type of liquor license the establishment has as to whether its legal to carry inside in LA.

It is a restaurant.

You can bring in a restaurant. You cannot sit at the bar area to eat. It isn't that difficult.

Yeh i think that would be a wise decision.

I know its tv but i saw an episode of blue bloods and an off duty cop shot a suspect and had been drinking and it was a big issue for the department....not sure how accurate some shows get with that stuff though
