Vaer has a great following, never had one myself.
I'm on the 41mm quartz TSAR today with the Erika's Originals MN strap. Loving this as my summer time beater.

Would love a BB Heritage, or a BB 58 Blue, but I need a date complication.

If ADDING to their Rolex collection, which is my entire point.
People buying a Tudor as their only/first watch is doing so because they cannot yet spring for the Rolex.
It's an absurd take that someone can't just prefer the aesthetic of a Tudor watch over a Rolex. It's 2024, Tudor isn't just a cheaper copy of Rolex anymore. Your argument would hold merit in 1965, but it's not 1965 anymore

In current times what you're saying is equivalent to saying that someone buying a Seamster is doing so because they can't afford a Sub. Do you see the bias in that comment?

Nice one. Been through so many of these micro divers, but never a Raven.
I like it. It’s a little top heavy, though, compared to my NTH subs.
I made an offer on an Aevig Huldra V2 with orange dial and stainless bezel insert, but the guy wouldn’t ship from Spain.

You don't see many used Aevigs pop up. I try to check watchrecon every now and then.

There are a couple on Chrono24. The other is a blue one. Very nice, but I’m full up on blue dial watches.

It's ok to disagree, hoss.
Just pointing out this topic was discussed on the Rolex forum where hundreds responded and disagree with you.

Tudor is a really solid watch (I don't own one, but I think they are a solid buy). That said, they still have the connotation of being Rolex's little brother brand (again, nothing wrong with that).
That said, they are not for me. I hate the faux rivets and snowflake hand.

Are you saying that people who post on a Rolex forum are biased towards Rolex? That's wild

No many stated they purchased a Tudor first, they could not afford the Rolex and worked their way up to the Sub.

Sweet 3940!
I got busy today, took the pic this morning, usually my Friday slows down about 3 but I spent 2.3 hours explaining why we couldn't do what a client wanted. He is one that I have told multiple times a therapist is much cheaper but he says he prefers to vent to me. Whatever.
Omega 3520.50 Speedmaster Mark 40 Cosmos. A triple date reduced Speedy (note I only set the pointer date because the date and day are a PITA to set in the early morning) with an Omega 1151/Valjoux 7751 movement in the reduced 39mm case. A very busy dial but I have grown to love it. I originally bought if for my wife because she thought the Speedy Pro was too big but somehow it reverted back to my accumulation and while I planned to sell it I like it more every time I wear it, its been 12 years so I guess it will stay.

When I bought my first Tudor I had at least 8 Rolexes, multiple Pateks, APs, Vacherons, and a Lange. But I'm weird I like watches. I admit to being a bit of a brand whore but jebus christo I don't understand the idea of slagging off on Tudor. Outside of being too clever by half when they designed their in-house GMT movement (which bit them in the arse) I have nothing but praise for Tudor and like a 718 beside a 911 it can stand on its own merit.

Handholding is part of the biz.
I’m a fan of the 3511 series Speedy’s, though I don’t own one yet.
