I live in TX, some are nice and some are like IED training grounds, pretty much like everywhere else

If you think spending that much money on a high school stadium is doing it right, i pity your thinking on what is right.

big highway redo near me that isn't that old, multi gazillion $, and the contractor is from Spain, sounds right huh?

Yes, but is it in an area projected for growth or needed infrastructure? And the only Spanish companies I remember involved wth Texas highways were involved with the Toll Roads and Trans Corridor. Which big highway are you referring to?

Compared to Louisiana where I was born and raised, the tollways, 75, 35, etc are of autobahn quality in comparison. At least here (Dallas) it is much cleaner than back home.

I'll never be a "Texan" but that doesn't keep me from acknowledging what Texas has done right/what Louisiana can improve upon.

TX residents do not sacrifice academics for sports, and when you have the correct priorities the taxpayers are willing to foot the bill, LA residents could learn from this.

Don't multiple schools share some of these stadiums in come districts.

Just McKinney and Frisco (Frisco schools play in the cowboys practice facility.)

Allen and prosper are one school each.

Texas is better than Louisiana in almost every measurable aspect. The food scene in New Orleans is really the only thing better.

And "Cultcha" is not a measurable aspect.
