Testing in EBR

Just saw on WAFB that mid city is considering reopening their drive through testing today. The reporter indicated that the decision to reopen testing would be made day to day based upon the limited testing kits available.
I have to say - this was terribly surprising. Sounds like we ramped you our testing early last week, then it came to a halt towards the end of the week as we ran out of tests. If that’s the case, the public needs to be warned. Despite what you are hearing on the national news about testing ramping up across the US, there apparently is a lag and our numbers can still be significantly higher if and when testing ramps up every day. Maybe I was just completely misinformed, but I thought we started testing 200/day at mid city last Monday and Tuesday and that continued daily PLUS new locations added. Apparently that’s not the case at least in BR.

If you have it you have it. They don’t treat you differently if you test positive. We’re already staying home. I don’t see why it’s such a big deal.

People who have no symptoms are trying to go get tested.

The stock market is sure to tank once everyone hears testing was temporarily halted in Baton Rouge.
