Came to the conclusion of a somewhat common ailment. I apparently pulled some small muscle down in there. Forgot the name of it. Not really a groin pull.
Been dealing with a groin pull for the last several months. Physical therapy finally made it go away. Felt like someone thumbing the boys every time I'd cough or sneeze. Got old quick.

Well… I had it. My brother in law had it. My stepdad’s brother died from it. It doesn’t seem too rare to me.
Are you suggesting they should take their chances?

Not suggesting that at all. Obviously you should go to a urologist if you have significant pain in your testicles. But worrying about it and getting anxious isn’t going to make it any better when it’s still an exceedingly rare cancer to get, statistically speaking.

1 in 250 equates to 4% of the total US male population when you calculate it. That’s around 600,000 out of 160,000,000 males that get it. That’s an extremely small number. I’m very sorry that you and other family members got it, but that doesn’t mean it’s common in men because it isn’t. You’re statistically more likely to get prostate cancer than testicular cancer.

Testicular cancer is not common: about 1 of every 250 males will develop testicular cancer at some point during their lifetime.

I think you mean .4% of the population.
