I wonder when the actual full prices will be out. There is a paucity of EV sports cars, understandable since it is a niche within what is basically another niche. The EV variant of the 718 Boxster/Cayman will likely be the first to start under $100k but the market above that and below the hypercar range is wide open. The performance version of the Roadster should fit nicely in there and give it some time in an empty space.

I was able to tune in today and find out a little more about FSD in the roadster. It’s not going to have point to point FSD like the other vehicles, but it will have limited capacity and usable on interstates, highways, etc. There was an earlier discussion that I missed that went into more detail, but the aggressive angle of the windshield is one of the contributing factors.
I also learned that the thruster version that can jump is going to have around a $2 million price tag.
