Do pest control companies have to do an extra treatment every 10 years if they come out annually? Pest control guy called me and said it was time for a "10 year treatment" that cost $650 and it was the only way they could continue my termite warranty.
Is this true? I thought that's what the annual treatment was for.

I don't think they treat it annually. I think at most they do an inspection and the money you are paying is to continue your warranty

Fear tactics, then when you get termites anyway they are not liable for anything.

The warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on.

Talk them down on that price. Yeah, I got that 10 year spray where they retrenched and actually drilled a few more holes in the concrete near the foundation. I also get the annual spray as part of the whole deal.
