Anyone else notice the multiple references to "Roll Tide"?? Maybe I missed the connection earlier as I'm currently on the 5th or 6th episode....maybe Chris Pratt's character is from AL or went to school there.

The girl that he rescued in Iraq/Afghan that flies him around went to school there, and makes a comment about it when she is being rescued.

Wrong board but here you go

“It’s Rushing’s character who has an affinity for Alabama football.

Rushing, it should be mentioned, was raised in Semmes and attended Birmingham-Southern College. It appears this is a case of fiction mirroring reality.

In episodes four, five and six, there is interaction between Reece and Riley as it pertains to Alabama football. In fact, it was a part of the conversation when they met and later turns into a means of endearment.

“Is that a hint of Southern Bell?” Reece asks as he comes to the aid of the injured Riley in the middle of battle.

“Fort Rucker, Alabama,” she replies in pain.

After she explains her “back’s busted,” Reece asks, “You a War Eagle, Riley?

“(Expletive) You,” she replied. “Roll Tide.”

Fast forward an episode and Reece arrives at an airfield to hitch a ride with a now-healed Riley, who is waiting for him and killing time by watching Alabama football on her phone.

While principal shooting of “The Terminal List” was done in 2021, Riley is reacting to Eddie Jackson’s 2015 93-yard pick 6 against Texas A&M which helped Alabama to a 41-23 win.“

I saw that part but to me it looked like an orange-uniformed player such as Florida wears running into the end zone.

Decent Series that really picks up in episode 6 & 7. Pretty predictable if you pay attention but the fact that you missed the roll tide reference means you will be surprised by the ending. A few plot holes remain unfilled but overall I enjoyed it.

Series was cool. Lots of Coronado. Really like the author of the book the movie is based on, Jack Carr. Figured the series would be legit since he produced it too. Obviously the Roll Tide references was a nice touch for me....
