Basically it was “be a man and whip their arse.”

I followed advice. It worked. Instantly was left alone and ended up pretty popular

Was the bag strapped to him or would have had to do this arse whipping one handed?

poor kid, all the way around

How many times have that school system been sued because they didn't stop kids from being bullied?

So true but they will not understand how literally true that is.

Indeed. That’s like one of the things the parent in the OP mentioned on local news was a bus monitor. Schools here have to pay out of their school budget (not the main district budget) for a monitor. Which typically means they have to give up a teacher, in a likely already crowded building. And the state continues to cut the education budget. So what do you do then?

Same thing with mental health counselors. School counselors here are inundated with state regs and curriculum/scheduling/testing priorities. They’re just now making a push for mental health counselors on site at schools but the state doesn’t want to give them the money it while demanding they bring those folks in.

And then there’s discipline. The same school district is currently dealing with a lawsuit from a parent that is claiming her sons who were suspended off the school bus shouldn’t have been because they’re being bused to a school across the district. And are pushing to make it where students who cannot provide their own transportion to the school waived from receiving a bus suspension.

It’s absurd.

How many of those were parents looking for someone else to blame and expecting a school district to raise their kids/do their discipline for them? Why not sue the parents of the bully? Oh that’s right, there’s no money in that.

I had a student commit suicide as a middle schooler in that district. She (the Mom) sued for similar reasons. Come to find out she was selling his psychotropic meds and the lawsuit was thrown out.

If the school and staff were in the wrong, I hope it’s addressed. But I’ve seen far too many of these kind of cases to not wait to see the whole story unfold.

contrary to what all believers think, no where in His word does it say there are streets of gold in heaven. The streets of gold are described in a vision of New Jerusalem. There is no indication of any streets or gold in heaven.

You know what you do with something like this? You go home, you hug your kids and tell them how much you love them. Then you sit down with them and talk to them about, not only not being a bully, but about showing some kindness toward a kid who is being bullied. Teach them to recognize bullying. It's possible that a few kind words could have saved this kids life.

There's a ton of unkind words on this board, but we're all adults, I think. Just be careful you don't display your shitty unkind persona in front of your kids. I see dads and moms, all the time, inadvertently passing on bad habits to their kids. If you don't believe me go watch a little league baseball game some time. It's embarrassing how some parents show their arse in front of the kids.

Sure. Whatever helps you get through the day.

Just saying that kid didn't have a day of mercy on this earth. With the same God your asking mercy of putting him in the shitty situation. Facts and all

Not to sound cold but that baby doesn't need prayers when he/she is in God's hands.

It's all good at that point.
