I didn’t tell my son good things about his mom, but I didn’t tell him she was a $2 whore either.

My son loves me and his mom, no need to tell him she’s a POS he’ll find out as he gets older.

I will say 6 years down the road she’s been relatively nice lately.

You don’t talk bad about their mama to the kids.

No good comes of it.
If there are bad traits, they’ll see.

Probably better to hear it from dad than from their buddies....

What’s even more frustrating is that when the kids were infants she always thought it was necessary to remind me to loosen the straps every single time I would put the kids in and out. I guess at a certain age she just didn’t give a shite anymore.

This is hilarious honestly. Because when I read this I have visions of my wife fussing at my youngest because he is crying because the straps are cutting off circulation because she never loosened them. I loose my shite when my seat belt locks from bumps.

That’s all well and good, but a word of advice - don’t compliment your baby mama too much in front of your current wife or gf.

One of my best friends hasn’t seen his 9 year old daughter since January. He’s remarried to a wonderful woman that loves his daughter like her own. His ex got mad at them because their daughter was telling her how much fun she had with them over the holidays and has convinced her that they don’t love her or want her over. She won’t even speak to her dad. This isn’t the first time this has happened. All brought to you by a woman that was more interested in acting like she was 18 and going out and getting drunk with her friends on Saturdays than being a wife and mom. Wanted nothing to do with her kid until it became a way to get back at her ex and got primary custody because she’s in Louisiana and has a vagina.

They just bought a new house and he had to set up her room. He was really upset.

There’s a special place in hell for people that do that to their kids out of spite.

I tell my kids positive things about their mother. That includes my oldest two and my ex wife. I grew up with the “here’s how crappy your mom/dad is”. It’s very counterproductive.

My approach is simple. My amazing daughter is the combination between my ex wife and myself. If I say anything bad about my ex wife, I’m basically saying half of my daughter is bad. I keep it positive even when it’s difficult. My daughter deserves that.

I haven’t and won’t say it, but I know he’ll figure out his moms the town bike soon enough. Can’t hide shite in a small town. He’ll also probably figure out that he had to switch schools because she fricked one of the other dads whose married and got banned from the PTA quicker than she got black balled from every LSU sorority because apparently her mom was a skank too.
