Bullmasiffs I been doing some research and it seems like the type of dog that is perfect for me and the family.
Any pros and cons I may need to know?

I think the main con is the 5-6 year life span. They have some health problems as well. If you like the loyal/family aspect of them, research the Olde English Bulldog.

On the age of life everything I read about life span is 8-10 years? 5-6 years seem to be short lived

Great dogs. Great family pet. Worry about ailments which seem to be typical in large breeds. Make sure both bitch and sire have x-rays proving good hip genes.
They need comfortable living space and limited exercise while in the puppy stage.

I was looking into the French Mastiff. That seems to be their average life span.

Olde English bulldogs seem to have serious heath issues. I looked into them. But they have to many health issues. But I do like the dog.

60-40 cross. I was interested in the American bulldog but can't find any good breeders. The AMB I did find was just hideous

That is interesting. I think one of the best AMB breeders in the country is in Louisiana.
