When my kids were about 2 I had one of my daughters in the shopping cart at the grocery store and there was a black guy behind us in the checkout line. I'm not sure if she'd never paid attention before or if we just hadn't taken her out in public much but she kept asking me in a pretty loud voice why the man behind us was chocolate.

A midget lady was in line behind us and my little boy who was maybe 2 at the time yells out "Dad look at that!”

I was at the grocery store with my little brother who was about 4 or 5 and my mom...this was in the late 80s. Well apparently my little brother hadn’t seen too many black people in person before so when we saw a black family down the isle he yelled out to my mom, “ hey look mom, Cosby show people”. Needless to say my mom was mortified and apologized to the “Cosby” family.

Literally just tonight, we were having dinner at Jason’s Deli. Me and my son are waiting for our food to come out while my wife (no pics) is at the salad bar. As we’re waiting, a very heavy man (400 lbs+) comes waddling past our table on his way out the door to leave. As the guy passes us, my 4-year old blurts out loud as can be “daddy, he ate way too much!”
My face turned dark red and I just look down trying to compose myself. Thankfully the guy just kept walking and didn’t sit on me out of anger on his way out the door.

Ooh me! Oooh. MEEEE!
When I was little my mom was pushing me around the grocery store in a cart. We passed a black lady in the aisle and a few feet later I turned to my mom and loudly proclaimed, "Oooo momma! That brown lady stinks!"

My 5 year old daughter jumped backwards in shock when she saw a midget in the grocery store.

We were at the beach and went out to eat and had just been seated at our table. Our waitress walked up to the table and introduced herself and my 3 year old daughter very cheerfully says to her,hey you look like a pig! It was an older black lady and she had somewhat of an upturned nose. We were absolutely embarrassed and made daughter apologize.
