Tell me what I need to know before choosing a daycare in the BR-Central area.

We are toying with the idea of putting our little ones in a day care, but I don't know anything about daycare other than that it's expensive. We live in Central and so far I plan on checking out Lil' Wildcats. The North Denham Springs and Watson area would also be convenient for us.

Do any of ya'll have some recommendations, or horror stories to share? Is there a rating or certification that we should be asking about when we approach potential care takers? We are not religious but are also not opposed to putting them in the care of a church group. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Also: Are webcams in daycares common these days?

If you don't want your kids hooked on meth at an early age then steer clear of Denham Springs and Watson areas.

Get ready for your kids to have a constant runny nose. Daycare is a great way to expose your kids to every sort of sickness that is out there. Little kids are disgusting fricks.

It helps build a healthy immune system.

Your sterile little genius brain child is gonna end up whooping cough because they can't fight off the flu.

Several good day cares in that area. Fundamentals daycare in central on Wax road in the new development there is excellent. Best care if Live Oak is also good. It is next door to Live Oak High.

Don't listen to the jealous clowns putting down this area. There are some shady spots but those 2 facilities are top notch.

We just went through this. Of all the ones in central we liked Little Wild Cats the best.

Crayon Campus is inexpensive (relatively) and I've had no issues. Every place is gonna have someone with something bad to say.

I read on a wordpress blog written by a stay at home mom that vaccines are a gateway to Satan! My dog got autism when he got his shots. After looking online for about twenty minutes I have made the informed decision that modern medicine is a hoax.
