not saying its Houston or New York, but there are other activities than hunting and fishing. Although, that's the big ones. Not everyone works in O&G there, so...

Mulberry, Bayou Blue and Chackbay are the best Schools District with a nod towards Bayou Blue the best public HS in the area. Houma Christian and Covenant are good schools.

I can't believe this thread is 7 pages long and nobody said shite about Big Mike's. I work in Houma every other week. I don't see anything that Houma wouldn't have that you're used to in Alexandria. I don't mind Houma one bit.
