I'd think there's a process to follow especially with the large volume of damage to expensive inventory, insurance type things, ya know?
Or they could just start hauling all that shite to the dump, frick the money!

Team is open.. Just using there used building for both while they repair the showroom.. They have to keep the cars around for lots of reasons.. One being that some can be sold through salvaged title...

This is not correct. There are wreckers hauling cars in Ascension to one lot on hwy30 around the intersection of hwy73. Sign at the road says Insurance auto auction. Then I saw some other wreckers coming down river road for Carville on the way home from work so I don't know it there is another lot down there. So it looks like they are selling flooded cars to me.

Uh, yes it is. It's the law in Louisiana. Cars that have been flooded cannot be resold. Insurance companies crush and destroy them. You may have seen damaged cars being sold, but they were not flood cars, not legally at least.

Well some of the cars I witness being brought into this lot had a mud line half way up the door. So I'm sure it had been under water. So why was it on an auction lot?

Did you notice the Geico/Progressive/State Farm RV's there in that same lot? I saw them today, my office is within walking distance of it. I'm thinking it's a staging area for the insurance companies because there's simply no where else to store them for now. They are definitely not selling them from that location.

Yes I did notice the insurance companies there.
