I made a free, open-source browser userscript called TD Ignore for anyone who wants an actual ignore function on TigerDroppings.

It runs entirely in your browser. It does not modify your TD account or anything on the TD server.

What it does:

- Adds an "Ignore" button next to usernames in posts.
- Collapses posts from ignored users.
- Collapses topics started by ignored users on board pages.
- Lets you temporarily click "Show" if you want to view a hidden post or thread.
- Lets you "Unignore" someone at any time.
- Adds a "TD Ignore" button at the bottom-right of the page so you can manage your ignore list.
- Saves your ignore list locally, so it is still there after closing your browser or restarting your computer.

The script does not use analytics, track you, send your ignore list anywhere, or make external network requests.

INSTALLATION

1. Install Tampermonkey, which is a browser extension for running userscripts.

2. Go to the TD Ignore page on Greasy Fork:

3. Click the green "Install this script" button.

4. Tampermonkey will open and show you the script. Click Install.

5. Go back to TigerDroppings and refresh the page.

You should then see an "Ignore" button beside other posters' usernames.

I've tested it with Tampermonkey on:

- Microsoft Edge
- Brave
- Firefox

Chrome should also work since Edge and Brave are Chromium-based, although I have not personally tested Chrome yet.

A couple of notes:

- The ignore list is local to that browser/userscript installation. If you ignore someone in Edge, Firefox will not automatically know about it.
- If another poster quotes an ignored user's text, that quoted text may still appear. The script only hides content that TigerDroppings can reliably identify as belonging to the ignored user.
- This is not an official TigerDroppings feature. It is just a client-side browser script.

The source code is public here if anyone wants to inspect it:

If anyone tries it and finds something that does not work, let me know.

Thanks! I just ran the script and you were the first username I put on my ignore list

But seriously though if it actually works you should provide a list of the top 10 most ignored users

So basically

Tide Saint can publically call out people that he has ignored, but still see them on His alters?

So Poster A who you've blocked, says "RoyalWe promised to sell me tickets to the game, took my money and didn't furnish me the tickets." You remain blissfully unaware and the rumor besmirches your reputation without you even knowing it. I'm not saying this app is a bad thing, but there are some potential pitfalls..
