If he’s doing this everyday and the boss hasn’t dealt to him about it yet there are only 2 possible explainations.

Either he’s been asked to do this or the the top person there is a horrible manager and your friend needs to find new employment ASAP

I work with a 50 some odd sky screamer who feels like it's his responsibility to go around telling all my coworkers things about other coworkers that he makes up as fact.

bawbitch didnt finish high school... Guess you are the last grade you completed.

When I worked for a finance company, we had a girl in the office who would keep tabs on everyone's comings and goings, what they said that may be questionable, anytime they complained about management. She kept it all written down in a notebook. She kept notes one everyone, including the branch manger.

Once we found out about it, the manager sent her home early as a treat. "Chrissy, you worked hard this week. Go ahead and take the rest of the day off."

Once she was gone, we found her notebook in her desk (manager had the keys) and we set the notebook on fire in the parking lot. We then went out and got hammer drunk.

She never asked what happened to her notebook. I guess she never wanted to admit to keeping tabs on everyone.
