I tried this before and have a newfound appreciation for precision cuts that line up perfectly with the joists.
That said, a good chunk of my second story subfloor will need to be replaced when we go from carpet to wood flooring. I may have to farm that out to a pro.

I learned the hardway.
Wife just took our money or somehow her money.
Hired a contractor and remodeled the whole house, new bathrooms, custom cabinets, paint the outside, and redid the concrete driveway.
All this because I would not paint a room.

Big AL was at the Birmingham VA last week. He was yucking it up with some employees and decided to spin in place. I was walking past him and his trunk slapped me in my chest.

I just repainted the dining room and am trying to make new curtains. After putting this off for a couple of years, I finally started to work on it.
