Looks to me from those pictures the cops were responding to a report of a person actually pointing a gun at people.

That's surveillance video from the park. The cops didn't see that. They saw him sitting down with no one around then stand up and left his shirt.

I'm not talking about what they saw. I'm talking about what was reported to 911. People saw him going around pointing a gun at people. I'm sure they reported this to 911 and this information, along with a description of the kid was thus passed on to the cops when they were dispatched. All they knew going in was there was a guy at the part going around pointing a gun at people. They pull up, see their suspect, and see he's starting to pull his gun on them. This will get you shot. It's sad and I hate the kid died as a result. But it's not the cops fault.

So when a caller dials 911 to report, which has to happen, after having a gun pointed at them/seeing the gun pointed at people how do you think that situation was described?

Ding ding ding, there is a kid in the park pointing a gun at people.

Sorry if he didn't have the common sense/wasn't taught to understand that a very real looking gun being pointed at people in a public setting is a very bad idea then i don't think he would have been making any better decisions later in life.

Additionally there are people suffering real tragedies and injustices across the earth, yet we have spent months on this horseshite

He shouldn't and bringing Lebron into it is dumb but I can understand a heartbroken mother wanting him to do/say something since he did with Trayvon Martin. The random BLM people who are talking about Lebron should STFU.

The 911 caller said the gun was probably fake twice and he looked juvenile.

Sorry if you don't like dealing with facts that don't fit your narrative but it looked to the cops like the perp they just pulled up on was going for his gun.

That so- called Mother, should have been a better Mother. Would also add, that his Father should have taught him right from wrong.

You're literally making up a fact to support your narrative despite the video evidence to the contrary.

This is what we've turned into as a country. A woman, who's child was killed, is demanding that a celebrity acknowledge her situation as if she's the center of the universe. I feel for her plight, but frick her at the same time too.

And who do these social media clowns think they are trying to tell a guy to essentially give up his livelihood so that they can get some kind of selfish satisfaction? frick those people too.1

And that wasn't relayed to the cops who responded.

Not at all. You refuse to accept the truth of the matter though. The cops were responding to a guy in the park with a gun. They pull up and he looks to be going for the gun. You can see it clearly in the video when he's lifting his shirt where he's got the gun in the waste band of his pants. When they see that they're not going to just wait on him to get his gun out and point it at them. They're going to neutralize him right then and there. If you can't see or understand this, then there's no helping you.

Correct, the 911 dispatcher never relayed this to the responding officers though, so yet again, going by what they were told they would have had zero knowledge or suspicion it may be fake

That is sad that Lebron won't weigh in on this.

But hopefully Slider, the Cleveland Indians mascot can help deliver justice.
