Mobile felt generally safe to me when I lived there five years ago but then again, I grew up in Jackson.

Spring Hill isn’t the safest part of town.. it’s a little bubble surrounded by shite .
Imo the only reason people live there is because of the country club and a status thing.
Owning land in west or north mobile is easily more safe.

Baltimore is #5, good enough for a national seed and a great shot at getting to Omaha.
Baltimore has consistently had ~300 murders a year, and with a shrinking population base it means per capita gets worse. The other cities tend to have more volatility in their numbers so the rankings shift with them. Baltimore is just a consistent blue blood (pun intended).

You were right by my house, I walk Springhill college almost every day. I came from Ocean Springs so I didn’t really know about serious crime.
We are Fairhope bound as soon as my wife finds a house she likes, and I can afford. (I am not paying 800k for 1500 square foot pos)
