I used to go to Taiwan often on business and loved it there. I used to just walk around Kaohsiung and Tiapei at nights by myself and had a ball. I can't tell you how many times I'd walk into a bar not knowing a soul and would get shitfaced without spending a dime. SUPER nice people over there.

They fricking HATE the Chinese.

Taiwan has beautiful beaches and mountains too. I can't remember the city but there's an 87 story building with a restaurant at the top that rotates that was cool as hell.

Sounds like you and I had similar experiences over there. Loved my nightly walks exploring the cities... I spent time in Taipei,Tainan, Kaohsiung, Chiayi, Hailien, and Taichung... All were fun cities to explore and I made friends everywhere I went.

Btw, you're thinking of the 85 Sky Tower in Kaohsiung.
