Cool said the officer was called to the home around 4 p.m. for a verbal domestic abuse report. The situation must have escalated quickly, as the officer then called for "priority backup," and shortly after that reports of shots fired came in, she said.
Other officers got the injured officer out of the home and took them to a nearby hospital.

Nothing more trashy that killing the cops that come to save the dumbfricks that are too stupid/immature to handle their own problems like adults.

Domestic violence calls are probably the most dangerous call for an officer.

Though police still believed around 10:45 p.m. that the suspect remained barricaded and armed in the East 52nd Street home where the shooting took place
so, is he still in there? Or did they fire 6oo rounds and graze him?

Time to send in a robot with a bomb.

Hopefully he has a pile of blankets and fire wood in the house. Cops can throw a flash bang grenade at that, like that a-hole in California a few years back.
Let him roast until he decides to put one through his skull.

Race of officer and suspect? This will determine news worthiness.

Dude killed a cop. Kill a cop? Screw that, you then die. Period.
If he barricaded himself alone in the house, I don't see how that situation wouldn't be resolved within a matter of minutes, preferably with the suspect dead and full of bullet holes so as to save the taxpayers money.

They didn't know if he had others in the house and it turned out his two kids were there. They killed him this morning. Happened about a mile from my house. Makes me sick.
