I hate to be that guy because if I was in your shoes I’d be pissed too but 3 hours isn’t exactly all the time in the world when it comes to utility construction. Some municipalities and state DOTs require permits for emergency pole replacements and the utility company may be subbing the job out too, just keep calling and asking for updates and hopefully they’ll push it along.

Interesting. I receive updates from SWEPCO when there is a power outage in my area and when power is restored. Unfortunately I receive these updates more frequently than I like.

My neighborhood has a telephone pole nearby. That could have been us.

I'm always impressed at how quickly Entergy handles their issues. They have trucks on scene within 30min usually. My power went out and only mine and they had a truck here at 11pm to fix it.
