the latest talks of terrorist attacks on the US power grid I began to think, realistically if this was to happen, what is my plan of action.

My question is, folks of the OT that live in subdivisions and apartments, if the power grid went down, for sake of planning, for months. How would you handle this? No electricity to run your heater in the winter, grocery stores have been rummaged.

If the power was out and we were actually having a winter, I would be happier.

If the power was out in the summer, Ahab better prepare his anus, because I'm on the first flight to his shite covered litterbox.

It's Louisiana - doesn't take much to heat a sleeping area.

Also, it's Louisiana - I own a firearm and a fishing pole or two, so.... fish, squirrels and deer

Beanie Weenie's, fried Spam, Hormel Chili, and the plethora of dehyrated veggie containers I have. Im not worried about winter. It's about to be 80 fricking degrees on Xmas day.

Man, I'd be so fricked in Nashville.

I'd probably drive to my in-laws house in Madison, MS. My father-in-law is a retired NASA engineer and was in the Army and loves guns and is prepared for doomsday.

Dude has 2 backup generators, lives on a lake filled with fish, and has a gun room.

ETA:

And he's the silent staring type. Asking him for his daughter's hand in marriage was terrifying

Response was a very quiet "Its about damn time" with a straight face
