What’s the relevance of Trump and Biden’s ages? They’re running for an office with no age limit in the constitution.
Not ready to go? Who cares? Judges who act as if they’re entitled to a spot on an elected bench are dangerous.

Didn't realize she (Higg) was that age. I think both will be disqualified based on judge age laws/state constitutional amendments surviving scrutiny in the past. But you never know.
I understand the idea. But, I've seen terrible judges well under 70. And I've known judges who sit ad hoc after their last term and are completely competent. It's all anecdotal of course. Just like the pros and cons of electing/appointing judges. Those judges are humans. And with humans you will get stupid human behavior.

This might have already been posted, but the Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court is 77 years old.

The point is you're under 70 at the time you qualify. Johnson was, and is retiring this year because she can't run again.
