After having the same pair of sunglasses for 15+ years, I recently had to search for another pair.

Trying different brands, I liked Costas the best.

Like Maui and Revo....never saw where Costas were anything special when put up against MJ's

I also have some WileyX that I use when I'm out doing real physical stuff. Their frames with a Trivex lense is damn near indestructible

Ray-Ban Aviators are what I like and wear most.
But for motorcycling, I buy welder's glasses with reader inserts - cheap and very effective. They are made in dark, clear and yellow.

I think Costas are great on the water just like my Vaurnet with the special coating are great when it snows or for skiing.

Wiley X because they are the best for keeping wind out of my eyes in my bass boat.

In college, I had a pair of Aviators with the cable temples. I loved them as far as them not falling off and always being in place. However, after wearing them for any amount of time, I’d get headaches. They really did pinch my ears and the side of my head.

I used to like Revo, but for some reason, every pair of Revo's that I try on, I see splotches in their lens which impacts my vision.

My Revo's got splotchy around the edge of the lenses. I sent them in for warranty and they said I had washed them improperly, or the sunscreen I used had delaminated the edge of the lenses.

I have never had another pair of sunglasses do this and I never changed how I do things with all the other sunglasses I have owned.

I still have an old pair of Costas which are great and some Ray Bans that I gave to my son, because I had to get prescription lenses. I went back to the Ray Bans because I liked them so much.

When I was playing professional golf, I was an early convert to wearing polarized sunglasses. I had a deal with Oakley before David Duval did, but obviously I was never as famous. I still have a pair of Half Jackets.

But I am also a Shady Rays convert. I have 2 pair similar to my Half Jackets and am very much enjoying them.
