It’s not about punk for me, it’s more about Gunther.
What sense does it make for him to blade, job, then have punk lose that quick. Just seems to devalue his work put into the match.

I assume all celebrities/athletes are left-wing nuts until proven otherwise. If they can manage to keep their political thoughts off of the show, it makes enjoying the show a whole lot easier.
I'm not one of those "keep your politics away from me" people, though. If I agree with your politics, I'm all for it being on my TV.
