and Dr Dre beat the hell, close to near death, of multiple women and he's exaluted as an urban hero badass. Along with other stories of cover up's for celebrity indiscretions. And the world keeps on spinnin.

I would estimate that probably 30% of the women I dated or relationships with had some inappropriate contact by older men and/or male family members when they were growing up. In some cases, they were matter-of-fact about it and they had moved on. In a lot of cases it seemed to still affect them.

Unfortunately I know many girls where their first sexual contact was forced and unwanted. These aren't at risk kids who fit into some kind of statistic either. Just your everyday, average girls who have fully involved parent's and the typical burb life.

I have three friend's who lost their virginity while they were drunk and taken advantage of by their dates. Not like it was a scene out of Last House on the Left, but still their virginity was lost at a time where they were basically passed out.

It's just completely frightening. I have absolutely no idea what to do with my daughter once she grows up.

Serious question: When virtual reality gets to the point where people can simulate sexual experience, will pedophiles be allowed to stimulate these experiences?

I'm kinda torn on this one, they're not hurting anyone but it still seems like we as a society would be condoning it.

This is a very interesting point. If we ever really do invent artificial intelligence, I don't think our society's current moral relativism will look so good.

At that point, what does it matter who you're pretending to frick? If you want to frick a pretend character at the end of the day who cares what you're imagining. I don't want to start policing anyones fantasies if they aren't hurting anyone else.

You could frick a brony or an elf that's lived for a hundred lifetimes and is Fricking 10 in elf years and all sorts of moral gobbledygook.

I don't want to start treading there. The legality gets weird.

It's amazing how society views modern day issues. Everything seems to be flavor of the week.

We have people in this thread who want this guy put to death, when they themselves have probably stared at the rear end of a 15 year old...knowingly or unknowingly. I hope the courts get this guy for a long time...

...but let's not forget their are actually murderers who seem to get off with ten years in some instances too...

When it was a 16 year old...I'm more than willing to give leniency. Hell I know when I was 16 there were definitely some developed girls. I think the age of consent is 16 in some states.

Now the younger ones...13?
I have a special place in my hate for guys that prey on young teens like that. At that point you are venturing past moral ambiguity and into paedophile territory.

I agree. 15-16 year old girls sometimes flaunt themselves (think bourbon street during Mardi Gras). While still illegal, that's completely different from this shite he had of 6 year olds.

I agree with your second point. As to your first, it's important to remember that he paid a finders fee for "the younger the better".

From the first moment I saw that goofy looking pedo on TV I could tell he was fricked up in some fashion. I didn't think it was on this level though

What's interesting is its not uncommon for young teens to be wed to older men in some parts of the world.

It was common in the US well into the twentieth century.

That won't happen. Pedos are in no man's land. They're modern day lepers. You try to get them help people would say you're condoning it. I agree something needs to be done and them getting treatment before it occurs is the utmost importance. What that treatment is, is anyone's guess.

God forbid you smoke some marijuana they'll put you away for 10+ years for third misdemeanor and this clown gets anywhere between 6 and 12 years. Where did it all go wrong
