quote:

Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has expressed his gratitude for Russia’s positive role in world affairs – and the Syrian crisis in particular – at an inter-parliamentary meeting in Moscow, where he noted the ignorance of some of his colleagues’ opinions and statements. “Thank you for what you are doing in Syria. From me!” Rohrabacher said in front of Russian and US parliamentary delegations. “I’ve been talking to ordinary Americans and I say: It’s great they have Russia down there killing the terrorists that want to kill us. And they thank you too.”

If only we had s leader like Putin. That Muslim sack of shite we have now wouldn't do anything to hurt his brothers.

It's fairly simple. People respect action, even if it's the "wrong" action, more than pussyfooting around and waffling.

People still respect balls.

I wish we would just let that sucker have Syria. We benefit because Putin is killing Assad's enemies, and that includes IS. We also benefit because the civilian casualties are the fault of someone else, so they get to be the Great Satan.

Some people think that backing Assad is "wrong".

Personally, I think this whole Mideast debacle over the last 15 years is a perfect illustration of the phrase,

"Better the devil you know than the devil you don't."

Because they're not there to destroy ISIS. They're there to prop up Assad. That mostly means killing other rebel groups that may or may not be supported by the US. They only go after ISIS when it means helping Assad out

Yeah, just like everyone respects Bush for invading Iraq for WMD. Ok, if you say so.

They're not ignorant of a thing

without the US, russia would be but a memory. and of course, that's just he tip of the iceberg, kinda like Woodrow Wilsons quote about a feared presence in congress turned into controls and manipulations beyond your wildest dreams. Like Eisenhowers warning may have been news to him or the american people, but for insiders it was old old news. Just like JFK's speech at the Waldof Astoria about the covert worldwide conspiracy...which the people out of ignorance attribute incorrectly, so they can feel safe enuf to sleep at night etc...

I got my education from reading
"From Major jordans Diary" among other books with similar insights

in the end, you're watching a dog n pony show made just for the viewers...that's it

analyzing it is just an exercise in futility...

^This times infinity. If history has proven anything, it's that Russia only looks out for Russia. No other nationality, no other country, no other cause.

Just Russia. If you understand that when you're dealing with them, you're much better off.

Which begs the question, why the hell are we backing another middle eastern rebel group/tribe/ whatever in the first place? You would think after backing osam bin laden in the 80's we would've learned this area of the world is currently incapable of civilized society. Instead of trying to prop up a democratic house of cards we cordon it off and tell them they don't get to interact on the world stage til they shape up
