Anyone else have a foot of water in their street. Pretty sure all the slab on grade houses have water in them on my street.

Is that pumping station around Moss not running? Is that not Harahan?
And dang, that's some water.

I have a lot of family who lives in Harahan. This is worrisome. I haven't heard anything from them.

Don't think so unless it continues past Jeff. Hwy. away from the river.

Seriously though, I was coming home down Airline and saw the system over your area. Pretty nasty looking and lots of lightning. Wish I had taken some pics. Darkest rain line I've seen in a while.

My office in Elmwood floods ridiculously anytime it rains. We routinely get watered in at work, which sucks when it's time to go home and you have to wait for the water to go down, even in a truck.
Fortunately I don't go to the office anymore.
