Had a patient of mine die of a heart attack last year. His wife takes the dogs out for a walk after lunch and came back to find him dead in the computer chair with his pants down and asian porn on the computer.

His wife didn't attempt to save him, and then told all the details? The Guy is better off.

Back in 1987, my step uncle was 23. He was working at the families lumber company. A planer head kicked (shot) out an 8' 2x4 about 30 to 40 feet as he walked by. It went into his chest and clipped his aorta. He managed to run to the office where my stepdad and his other brother walked to find him collapsed. They kept reviving him on the way to the hospital but he never made it.

This is not anatomically possible. The whole nose through brain thing is a myth.

My stepdaughter's teacher slipped in the shower and she hit her head on the faucet and died.

I slipped getting out of the shower and was unconscious for around 30 minutes before a buddy came in and checked on me. I was out cold on the side of the toilet. Huge knot on my head, broken toilet, I ruptured and herniated two discs, and now have seizures because of it. Couldn't remember anything about myself for two days (name, SS#, parents, friends, etc)

Probably would've died had my head not been so fricking hard. Showers are more dangerous than people think

Just remembered a guy died playing adult softball. He was running to first base and someone was trying to throw him out and hit him in the temple and killed him. Bad deal he was a huge guy might have played college football and had 2 young kids.

Well he died right there on the field, i guess he may have died another way. But his name was Rob Leake from St.Francisville, a very nice young man. I stood over him and weatched him take his last breathe.

I was good friends with a guy from BR. Some of you probably knew him. He died nekkid in the middle of Highland Road in 1995 all fricked up on acid in a controversial excessive force issue by brpd. So technically he passed away in the back of the police car.

Dude was a super nice guy and 2 time 4A state CC champ. But despite countless offers, he never made it to college. Liked to party too much.
On a humorous note, he would have easily beat deNYEd in that drinking/smoking 1 mile bet.

This is also part of reason police claimed they needed so much force to subdue him.

Roger that. Just had realized you were post above me.
He was just a gifted motherfricker who could run 15s on the Highland Road course on the reg(impressive if you have run that CC course).

No doubt. That hill at very beginning of mile 2 was a BITCH. And I'd get to the top just to see all the 'real runners' spanking me by half a mile already. Speaking for myself here as my PR on that course was 18:50something.

Anyhoo. Was tragic.

My father-in-law told me how their old neighbor committed suicide. The neighbor had been dating this girl on and off, and 1 night she stands him up at some super fancy restaurant. He was a bit of an odd guy, and apprently he took getting stood up terribly wrong. He took an entire bottle of Nyquil, cranked up his hot tub, and dosed off, even closed the lid on himself. Another neighbor found his soupy remains a week later after a horrible odor was found coming from the guys back yard. All that were left were some of his bones. Everything was cooked off

A few come to mind..
Ex-wife's uncle was duck hunting with his buddy. Dude stood up right as the uncle shot - blew his head off.
A former cop that my dad worked with years earlier was home with his wife. Doors unlocked. Someone came in and killed them execution style. The guy had to be messed up in some kind of crap - doubt it was random.
A guy I grew up with when we were kids went frogging one night with a friend. Supposedly fell overboard and drowned, but had serious head trauma. I'm guessing a paddle to the head from his buddy who had to be fricking his wife.
A perio resident in dental school who we used to work out with - dude was ripped and an all-natural body builder. I think his brother won all-natural Mr. America or something. Girlfriend was a bodybuilder featured on a magazine cover. He was driving back home with the girlfriend over a holiday break and fell asleep at the wheel. Car flipped or something and girlfriend's body ended up in the highway. He ran out to her and got hit by a truck or something. Both killed.

Anyone from Shreveport has probably heard the story, but a local attorney or doctor one was out fishing on the lake. Well, it started to rain and the friend got concerned and suggested they head on in. Well, the other guy said something to the effect that if it was his time to go, it was his time. So, he proceeded to stand up and yell "God take me now" just then a bolt of lightning struck him dead. True story. You can find it in Shreveport Times archives

I think I know who you are now. Does said uncle happen to run an industrial company located in Slaughter?

Many years ago, a young man hit a deer on a motorcycle late at night. When he was found the next day he was laying in a fire-ant bed, covered in fire ants, his body still warm. The deer's body was stiff and cold.
