Levi pretty certain a storm is coming to the northern gulf coast in the next week. How strong and exactly when seems to be the only big unknowns.

just depends on how long it's over Mexico

just like with humans... the longer you're in Mexico, the higher the chances of you getting ripped to shreds

I hate when 10ths of a foot is used as a measurement. For some reason it just messes with my head.

It's almost as bad as the metric system.

Winds up to 50 mph pressure 996 mb at 10 pm.

A big question and what will have a big impact in this is how much time does it spend over land. You can see it getting its act together.

Any chance Mexico will tear this apart completely?

Like if it meanders further south than projected?

Has Peej weighed in yet on this storm? Trying to make plans for the weekend, need to see his prediction first.

Also, if the storm makes landfall in Louisiana, then makes its way into Florida. Will Florida’s governor allow it to stay and/or quarantine for 14 days?

Same here, leaving Sunday for gulf shores. The wife and I were talking earlier about leaving Monday morning instead depending on what the storm does.

I’ll be the guy that bitches about my beach trip:

Three fricking months locked in the house and this a-hole is going to keep trending northeast until it hits 30a right when we’re scheduled to arrive.

We are schedule to go to Pensacola Beach Thursday to Sunday, but we may push it back 10 days or so to let all this weather clear out. Our cancellation deadline is tomorrow by noon.

Don’t worry, I think you can find one of those 30a stickers online to put on your car

Overnight Euro has it a little more organized at landfall near Vermillion Bay early Monday morning. GFS has it getting it's act together as well.
