I am not staying. I already told my son we are leaving early Thursday morning.
Good deal. If you need anything, I will meet you in Lake City. It will give my family an excuse to go back to Disney World.

Byte check out this link to the surf report I use when I go surfing. A good day of surfing out here is about 3 ft waves and a wave energy of between 140-150. Look at Thursday and Friday's surf report. Holy shite

That is crazy. There will be some fools out there riding those waves.

Nobody out here will be surfing those waves. Would kill yourself trying to paddle out to catch them. I have wiped out on a 5-6ft wave with a wave energy of about 175. Bout broke my back under water. That kind of power we are gonna get on Thursday and Friday sinks mega ships and cargo ships the size of two football fields.

I know nothing about surfing. How do those guys surf the Mavericks?
Posted on 10/5/16 at 3:08 am to ByteMe
First off they take jet ski's out to escape trying to paddle out past the shore break. Now they use the jet ski's to drop them into the waves when it begins to break. No way a human paddles fast enough to catch the the wave and drop into the wave to ride it. Surf talk I hope you kinda understood what I was saying

Of course. Don't they do that with the pipeline too?

looks like this thing turning straight north away from the U.S.
. Keep going east Matthew! back to bed for me

Yeah actually alot of times the surfers that do the massive waves will ride boats out to the waves. The waves us pinions ride are mostly generated by northeastern winds or ground swells that we ride along the shores. Human power to catch those. These gynomerous waves these pro's ride are way out in the ocean and like I said earlier require jet ski's to catch up to them enabling them to surf them.

I got this update at 1:30 AM
quote:
Hurricane Matthew remains on a northerly track as it moves past Cuba and heads toward the Bahamas. Matthew has weakened a bit due to interaction with the mountains of Hispaniola and eastern Cuba. Matthew should remain a major hurricane as it moves through the Bahamas but beyond 72 hours should weaken as environmental wind shear increases and sea surface temperatures decline. The forecast track has shifted Matthew a bit further to the west which will mean increased conditions along the Florida, Georgia and Carolina coasts.
