That last chart you showed is horrible that puts the eye almost right in the area I live. No sleep for me for 2 days. Gonna get home and start packing up and moving shite inland. Traffic is gonna be horrendous too.

Perhaps they're trying to find an alternate site?

Their best bet is at LSU...monetarily. Attendance will suck at LSU on short notice, but imagine how bad it would be at a neutral site, on short notice, with no local interest.

Yeah I agree, I'm just trying to think of different reasons why they'd continue to delay.

Looks like Matthew has official reemerged on the northern coast of Cuba.

Yes the attendance would be worse in the swamp then it would be at tiger stadium. Alot of gator fans are in the affected areas and traffic would be horrendous with everyone returning and no telling how many roads may not be passable. Best bet is tiger stadium

So the 0z Euro finishes the loop farther out to sea than the most recent GFS and doesn't suggest as much interaction with land the second time around. Guess we'll see how consistent these forecasts become.

Don't matter it will be a cluster frick starting today. I expect a mandatory evacuation starting tomorrow so I need to get all my shite together when I get home. I am supposed to work tonight but that might change if it looks like it is coming our way.

How close to the coast will it get? The team probably won't be able to fly in Friday. The coastal areas will probably need to evacuate to the Gainesville area and will need hotel rooms reserved for LSU fans. Emergency services will be spread thin and not be able to handle the game, etc...

This is pretty rare for Jacksonville.

It's been 54 years since Dora.

Duh on my part, it's in your profile. Do what they say and evacuate. It's not worth the risk of staying.

I am not staying. I already told my son we are leaving early Thursday morning. Gonna use today to pack up and load things in my truck. The gf will pick the pets on her way home from work.
