How about doing warrant sweeps

Great

calling out judges who reduce bail to pennies on the dollar for violent criminals?

What does that accomplish?

Could this be used at the mall? Seems to me this could be a deterrent in keeping some of the hood rats away.

They'd have to frisk granny's wheelchair too... and the four year old with pigtails... don't wanna be "racist".

Profiling, dress code, better grouping of stores, and separate but equal food courts.

A Terry Stop (stop and frisk) can't be used in the way you think it can.
quote:

In order to justify performing a Terry Stop, the officer(s) at the scene must be able to prove specific facts that would lead any reasonable police officer to believe that the detained individual has or was about to engage in illegal activity. For example, a Terry Stop is not to be conducted because a suspect has a history of criminal behavior. The threat must be immediate.

It has to be criminal behavior, the cops can't see a vape that's banned in the mall by Simon management and use that as an excuse to execute a Terry stop.

Didn't Sen Joe Biden gives us stop and frisk during the 90's as part of a crime bill? Then as president tell us how racist stop and frisk is?

I think I would rather have my constitutional rights than be subject to a random pat down on the street.

Do you think they give a shite what you say?

It's going to require a little more action than words.

Show me another city that saw a 60% drop in gun violence in a 3 year span. Terry was never used in the manner in NYC before or after the 90’s.

BTW during the same time period Chicago saw an increase in murders and overall gun violence.

New orleans ended 94 with 424 murders. Down to just 158 by the end of 99. I get nopd is an incredibly efficient, well run organization... and it should be of no surprise they are on par with the results of unconstitutional search and seizures, quite literally during the same time period you cite for nypd. Glad I could give you an example less than a 100 miles from your stated location
