Yep. WV has only tested 84 people.
They've tested the people who show the most likely signs of having it and they are coming up negative. Do you expect everyone to get tested?

They are not testing there, at all. I still have family there. Conversely one of the reasons there are so many confirmed cases in Italy is because they are aggressively testing for it. The US, as a whole, is so far behind the rest of the world dealing with this it's scary. You just have to hope your governors take care of you because the Trump adminstration has its head so far ups it's arse right now they haven't got a clew what to do. As for West Virginia's governor he had a television address to the state and told everyone to "go out to eat at Bob Evans"
West Virginia is one of the least healthy and poorest states. So many people with existing medical conditions. It's scary they have this jackass as Governor.
Honestly the safest place in the world right now seems to be South Korea. They are making test and administering tests. You can get a curbside test and have it texted to you the next day. The US government is not ordering tests or ventilators. That should scare the hell out of people.

Every word you said is bullshite. Except that you have family there. Which doesn't make you an expert on what west va is doing.
Louisiana is a poor arse state and we have curbside tests. And still only 37% of the most likely to have this are coming back positive. One big reason we are not Italy is how quickly Trump put the travel ban down. While Italy has hundreds of thousands of chinese workers there spreading shite in close proximity.

We're testing. I thought four sure we had our first case Sunday night. Patient showed up to our ED with symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, fever of 102.8) just returned from a trip to Italy, Greece, and Israel a few days before. Flu test negative, biofire respiratory panel was negative, but COVID-19 test were negative as well.
