Heating pad that can be dampened . Moist heat then cold compress followed by deep massage will fix u up .

Idk why people always recommend Biofreeze. It's only topical and has a soothing feeling but doesn't address a stiff neck at all. More than likely you slept in a position with your shoulder hiked up.
Google upper trap stretch and levator stretch plus a little neck massage. Boom.
