I haven't seen anything about unsealing the toxicology report. Lynch must not have liked it.

Is there such a thing as failure to deescalate the situation charge?
That might get a cop disciplined or maybe even fired, but that's not a criminal offense that I'm aware of in LA.

I also love how not gravy, the family, or anyone who thinks the cops are guilty will ever mention that just a few years back Alton was arrested for LITERALLY the exact same thing and only reason he didn't get to his gun that time was because it fell out of his waistband when struggling with officers....This time he learned from that situation and put it in his pocket so it couldn't fall out.
And they're not going to. All responsibility for the situation has been placed on the shoulders of the officers but none whatsoever on AS. AS was just a victim of racial profiling and systemic racism resulting in his murder in cold blood and those officers are going to get away with it. AS was an upstanding citizen, father, nephew and brother who was taken from this world at no fault of his own.
The fact that they either; 1)believe it or 2) are lying to push an agenda absolutely blows my mind.

He was a TPOS doing TPOS shite things, and it finally caught up to him. Unfortunately it caught up to him by the way of the BRPD. If he had been capped by some other TPOS it would just be another tick on the annual murder rate.

I speculated that is what would happen. The fact that it already did happen without my knowledge only proves my point.

Considering they were responding to a call about a man pulling a gun on someone its understandable
The cops rolled up and one pointed a gun at him from a distance. He didn't run up on him and stick the gun to his temple
I mean, yeah, I get that. I'm kinda playing devil's advocate here. I was just reading the DOJ report and it seems like the details about the gun pointed at Sterling's head could be an important detail in how this case was decided.

It's really hard to do it consciously after using it without knowing it your entire life. I'm confident that if you try hard enough you can exploit it on purpose like I do, though.
