The cop was absolutely a prick, but it's still not worth acting like that over. Even if I run into a prick cop I am going to say yes sir, no sir.. And they eventually go their way.. I go mine.. It's often really just that simple.

I agree and that’s how I generally handle the police, but it doesn’t give a cop the right to use force because you are simply being an a-hole.

I can’t understand why they apologized. Makes no sense. The cop is not obligated to be a push over because this guy thinks it’s stupid for the cop to question him about his parking. This guy drew attention to himself because of his actions. He then was irritated with the attention and chose to be a dick to the officer. The officer is not obligated to be nice to him.
Answer the fricking question, take a step back as asked and finally make sure your hands are clearly fricking visible.
This department made a poor decision to apologize in my opinion. I get it’s the popular thing to cater to the ignorant public but get over that shite and let people know if you act like an arse you’ll be treated like an arse.
This guy could have walked out and abruptly said, sorry about that officer, I shouldn’t have parked like that. (Cuz he shouldn’t have) The next several minutes would have gone totally different if he had simply accepted responsibility for his poor decision. I cannot fathom the frustration these cops have about their department apologizing to this a-hole and the public regarding this situation. It’s actually why this kind of behavior continues to surface.

We are supposed to feel sorry for this idiot. His father is a cop. This will just fit into The Narrative of the inability to trust police, by the sjws. All this will do is set off much more violence than tasing. You will have shootouts against police due to this. This young man should be a role model...and you first of all do not park in handicap spaces, and you especially do not double-Park.

Cooperate. 99.999999 percent of cops, I promise you, would love to get paid to save cats in trees and help old ladies cross the street and nothing more rigorous. No one wants to take on a big powerful man and have a struggle with him.

It's going to be great when there are police forces in these populous cities, but 100 cops or so will be on force. Same sjws's will start being the most notorious cop-callers of all.
