*Disclaimer* haven't read the thread.

So what this is saying is black people are racist towards other black people?

This seems like click bait material (Much like the Russell Wilson isn't really black articles of the past). This journalist is just trying to stir the pot on a non-issue.

Oh! My b.

I just googled it and most of what I saw was backlash from feminists because she is too traditional (aka indoctrinated by the patriarchy).

Has already been said, but his popularity has more to do with his playing style, size, good looks, and affable personality than it does with the shade of his skin.

If he had all the traits mentioned above and was the same shade as Shaq, he'd still be insanely popular.

This has been going on for years

I have a good friend in a "mixed" family, black guy married to white woman, has a child from previous marriage to a black woman, when that kid plays with other black kids he is unmercifully ridiculed, and has even been beaten up before, for acting too white, it's even worse when he goes to visit his mother and her family

This really isn't anything new and let's not act like blacks are the only people who have conflicts of race within their own race. It's just more highly publicized.

I've never heard any white person say to another white person "you're just not white enough"......never, ever.

I bet stuff written in this manner is making the Curry clan happy that they are selectively breeding the blackness out of their gene pool. Good for them. I see them being the Manning family of basketball and IMHO, the whiter the better.

Maybe not in present day. But in the past the Irish were looked at as lower class by other whites.

Also, couldn't you include the whole Northern Italy vs Southern Italy into this argument (An episode of the Soprano's immediately comes to mind with this argument)

In the Asian community the Vietnamese were once viewed as the lower class.

Meh...is this any different than white people who grew up in the late 80's or 90's that have Tupac or Biggie albums.

People enjoy picking up something different from their culture or region.
