I am thinking 60/40, but very concerned with a plethora of law suits that will slow this down to a crawl

The vote to incorporate will not be able to be changed by a court. When it passes, the city of St. George will be official when the vote is certified and it is sent to the governor.

There will likely be lawsuits regarding the distribution of legacy costs. However, that means that BR isn’t just going to get what they want because they want it. Also, after JBE leaves and Rispone gets in, the city of BR is screwed. You’re looking at super majorities in the house and senate and St. George will have their school district within 2 years.

To add to your question... what types of local/state/federal election results can be delayed for months or years on end just because one person sues claiming negative effects? Is it just local incorporation, or can this happen with, say, a governor's election?

Still waiting for someone to answer this one.

I don't understand how a private citizen can hold up the results of an election like this.
It's all fine and well that SWB doesn't think the city of St. George is a good idea, but we live in a country where we all have a say, and that say was that we have the god damn city. Respect the results of the election. I'm sick and tired of people bitching b/c they lost. Get the frick over it.
