I can't speak for the issue as a whole, but for the couple in Berkeley, the black/white combination is probably the least socially acceptable of the interracial pairings, especially if it's a black man and a white woman.

LG, this may be true but why is it so prevalent? It is rare to see a white man and a black woman. Why is that?

Bc black women aren't generally as attractive to white men.

If a black man is with an attractive white woman.

Less mainstream, but probably less socially accepted is black and Asian.

I've always wanted to bone an Asian. Someone tell me what it's like. The sounds and smells. I need to know this.

Well the answer lies in your question. I've been in College Station for almost 5 years and I myself have yet to experience any racist encounter. It's all about perception and education. I hate Putin as much as any patriot but he hit the nail on the head with one quote.
quote:

“In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Shari’ya Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that’s the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell ‘discrimination’

African Americans are another topic but those such from Asia and South America need the U.S. The U.S. doesn't need them. You can't expect to come to a country and basically get guaranteed citizenship and cry because you don't like something you saw on T.V. It's absurd. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. I blame the riots from the urban community on the media and immigration. Back in the 60's when African Americans had a problem you posed a peaceful protest and marched a few hundred people to show your dedication on the issue. I think the urban community is pissed because it took decades to get equal rights but other minorities come here and cry over a stereotypical commercial and get retributions right on the spot. It's funny how the media potrays so many unpatriotic people when they are the most unpatrioric people. America is bombing the middle east (omg) the American justice system is executing a rapist who raped 5 girls (omg) America is killing too many terrorist without due process of law (omg). Dam can America get a handjob once in a while.

Multitude of reasons. White men, in our society, set the hierachy for female beauty and which females are most desirable. Black women are at the bottom of that list. Additionally and historically, black womens first interactions with white men were pretty carnal and destructive. Black women were subjected to being raped by their slave masters, then had to be separated from their children, then watched their children be denied, all while taking care of the masters children. There has to be a lingering adversion there for black women.

Black women also want to preserve the black nuclear family

Have a former teammate who lives in Chicago and is black - when in college the blacks from the hood called him white boy and called any blacks that excelled in academics and had a proper vocabulary the same. I never heard the N word more in my life that in that locker room from blacks and I grew up in East TX. We have asians and other races here in America who never seem to have a problem assimilating. The majority of blacks cannot seem to get it together any time rule is turned over to them - Haiti? South Africa? LINK

I can't speak for the other posters, but I can recall from my youth, that this notion of black teens jeering other black youths for doing well in school, and speaking proper English is the biggest misconception and fallacy out there.

Whenever I see someone say this, it shows me just how little interaction some people have with black peole

Ole strong safety got it all figured out.

Personally I just don't find many black women attractive not saying all but most. I will not list my scientific reasoning as safety did to make this conclusion.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's a mutual lack of attraction towards each other.

Thank you sir, a true and honest answer. If we could only get some off their high horses once in a while and quit pointing everything towards something that happened years ago.

When I was in the military I was the best man for my friend who was black and his bride who was white. I once asked him why he always dated white women. He answered: "Like you I want someone that is nice. Can't help that I was born black, it what it is but we all have the same wants, desires, and dreams pretty much. I just find white women nicer for the most part. And to be honest, I just can't stand the attitude that black women throw out there." He said other stuff as well but in a nutshell that's it. He did mention something about the 'swively neck thing'. I just laughed at that.

Have a great day!!

Why do they think he's an Uncle Tom? Is this his opinion or have you spoken to the people who he claims support that opinion? Uncle Tom doesn't equal a well educated successful black person. Now one's actions [regardless of education or wealth/or lack of] will contribute to someone being called an UT.

The issue is the media is a dishonest wing of the Democratic party. What is right or wrong does not matter, what matters is if the issue furthers the democratic party agenda.

I cant speak blacks doing it to other blacks, but I can speak for blacks oicking at a white kid. And it wasnt just blacks. We had some poorer native american students that were like that as well. I mostly spent time in honors classes, but would have PE with everyone else. There wasn't any real animosity, but being a white boy or brains was the go to comment. I knew a hand full of blacks in our honors class and they did not socialize with the other blacks all that much. There was definitely a separation. It just appeared that poor uneducated separated from middle class and educated.

You have a completely opposite opinion than everybody else. Imagine that.
